  "Cemetery Witnessing" on Memorial Day

  i've been wondering if this is just something that's done in my area, or if people do it all over.. every year on memorial day, a lot of people meet for fs and then when they break into groups, they all discuss which cemeteries they are going to "work".

  every major cemetery in the city is divvied up.

  the idea is, they take a stack of small tracts (usually the what hope for dead loved ones) and they basically park the car in the cemetery and walk around handing them out to the mourners.

  jesus lived in heaven as a spirit person before he came to earth.

  god used him as his chief spokesman.

  that is why jesus is called "the word.".

  The escapeing aliens knowing their life support systems were about to fail implanted their embryo's in various females on the planet earth in hopes of preserving their once glorious civilization.

  In case you were wondering spanky tries to save the show when the flory dory's don't show and it all gets crazy and he sings that song at the end. I would post the video if i knew how I loved that episode when I was a kid.

  a super-zealous elder once told me in a very grave tone, "you know, mr. falcon, when someone becomes an apostate and leaves god's organization, they usually do very well physically and materially.

  " hence the reason he claims that they feel "vindicated".

  now i do also remember hearing such statements in the past from other witnesses.

  i working in an old peoples home and i can understand that after a long life they die, but not in this horrible way of not knowing their family lost somewhere in their mind.. worse than that is the thought of children dying it angers me extremely that a god of love would allow this on the basis of his own ego!!!.

  Waking Up From a 34 Year Slumber.

  july 11, 2011 will be 34 years since i was baptised as one of jw's.

  the sleeping pill i took was in the form of them providing the information that made the bible come alive with the truth and insisting that they go by the bible not adding or taking away from it.

  i had negative experiences from local brothers from time to time, however i excused them as part of being imperfect.

  When you wondered where would i go i thought about Thoreau and why he went to walden pond change it to why I left the organization because I wished to live deliberately to front only the essential facts of life and see if i could not learn what it had to teach and not when I came to die discover that I had not lived.

  Snowbirds

  the good folk from northern states who come down during the winter months are called snowbirds.. i'm told they like the milder climate and the lower cost of living.. very nice, friendly people, all of them.. one dear lady from wisconsin volunteered at my g'son's elementary school.. though at first they laughed at her funny way of talking, in no time, she had the kids stumbling over themselves to please her.. snowbirds.. imagine that.. syl.

  I'm not a big fan of anne Murray but sometimes a song becomes a classic because it just nails it. that song can i have this dance for the rest of my life however overused it might be is just plain beautiful and evokes a timeless feeling. Another song often used at weddings that i like is John Denvers Annie,s Song.

  now that everyone is getting more specific about eye color, i had to take another look. Mine are grey blue very light people always remember them as if they don't belong on this planet.
